Dr. Tongela D. Smith is an accomplished executive leader, strategist, author, and nationally respected speaker whose career spans more than three decades of leadership, public service, ministry, and community transformation. A visionary with a servant’s heart, she is widely recognized for building meaningful partnerships that strengthen organizations, empower leaders, and create lasting change within communities.

She currently serves as the Georgia State Regional Chaplains Director, providing leadership and oversight to chaplaincy initiatives across 11 counties throughout Georgia. In this role, she works alongside public safety leaders, chaplains, clergy, and community stakeholders to strengthen collaboration, crisis response, and compassionate care throughout the region.

Dr. Smith also serves as the Director of Inmate Affairs and Reentry Programs for one of the County Sheriff’s Office, where she leads initiatives that promote restoration, rehabilitation, workforce readiness, and successful reintegration for justice-involved individuals. She additionally serves as the Assistant Senior Chaplain, providing leadership and spiritual support to the Sheriff’s Office while helping bridge the gap between law enforcement and the communities they faithfully serve.

A respected civic leader, Dr. Smith serves on the Board of Directors for Georgia Piedmont Technical College and on the board of one of the largest family shelters in the State of Georgia. Her influence extends across education, workforce development, public safety, leadership development, and community engagement, reflecting her unwavering commitment to improving lives and creating opportunities for others.

As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Woman2Woman Community Network and Leadership Academy, Dr. Smith has dedicated her life to equipping women to lead with confidence, integrity, and purpose. Through leadership development, mentorship, conferences, and transformational programming, she inspires women to discover their voice, maximize their potential, and leave a legacy that reaches far beyond themselves.

An accomplished author, Dr. Smith has written The Road to Resilience, From Resilience to Brilliance, The Making of an Unstoppable Leader, and the co-author of Creating a Love that Lasts, written alongside her husband. She is currently working on her fifth book, continuing her mission of developing purpose-driven leaders.

In recognition of her distinguished leadership, service, and lifelong commitment to advancing faith-based leadership, Dr. Smith was honored with the conferring with Double honors. Doctor of Philosophy Christian Counseling, Marriage, Family and Child Therapy, and Doctor of Counseling, Leadership, and Business. All through Crown University. These degrees reflect her passion for equipping people spiritually, emotionally, professionally, and personally to fulfill their God-given purpose.

Long before becoming an executive leader, Dr. Smith’s journey was shaped through ministry and music. She has faithfully served as a preacher, teacher, mentor, and worship leader, and her musical background includes singing alongside the legendary Godfather of soul - James Brown, an experience that helped cultivate the excellence, discipline, and passion she continues to bring to every platform today. She also serves alongside her husband, Pastor Kenneth Smith, as Co-Pastor of Faith Works Christian Center.

Known for her warmth, authenticity, and ability to connect with people from every walk of life, Dr. Smith believes that true leadership begins with serving others. Lynn R Miller

Demonstrated excellence accompanied by a superior work ethic; Ms. Miller has 30 + successful years in the Mortgage Finance Industry. Her career has spanned various leadership positions from Mortgage Servicing to Residential and Commercial Originations.

As the principal in the development of ancillary income streams for Miletic Home Mortgage which

helped them earn the award of #1 FNMA servicer in the early 90’s. She followed with a Service

Management position in Dick Parson’s regime where she was a critical member of the team that

enabled Dime Savings Bank. successful emergence from under FDIC receivership.

A high-octane run-in origination followed in both Residential Originations and Residential Construction at the Park Avenue, NYC branch of Washington Mutual. She was a recurring, multi-year member of the President's Club.

She co-founded Starling Capital Group & Assoc. LLC in 2012 as a boutique Commercial Originations brokerage focused on new development along with small to mid-size investment property financing for both Multi-Family and Commercial properties. She enjoys mentoring young, minority and women developers. SCG & Associates focuses on putting their client's needs and goals foremost in all of their transactions.

As a former D1 Basketball player and Olympics alternate athlete, Coach Lynn enjoys coaching and

training young high school basketball players to prepare them for eligibility to receive Division I and

Division II scholarships. She currently has helped place over a dozen young women in various athletic programs around the country including HCBU programs. She concentrates on preparing them mentally for achieving at the highest levels. both academically and in athletics. She is not currently coaching due to the pandemic, however, whenever possible she can always be found courtside.
